Pureland Hydroponic Farm is a small, home-based hydroponic farm nestled in the White Mountains of Show Low, Arizona. We grow fresh, flavorful produce with care, intention, and respect for the land—focusing on quality, sustainability, and transparency over mass production.

Our Approach to Growing

We specialize in hydroponic growing, a method that allows plants to thrive using clean water, natural nutrients, and carefully controlled conditions—without the use of chemical pesticides or herbicides. By growing this way, we’re able to produce food that is consistently fresh, nutrient-dense, and free from soil-borne contaminants.

Every plant is closely monitored from seed to harvest. This hands-on approach ensures healthier roots, stronger plants, and better-tasting produce that you can feel good about feeding your family.

What We Grow

Our farm produces a wide variety of gourmet greens, herbs, and vegetables, including specialty lettuce mixes with edible flowers, arugula, bok choy, spinach, basil, rosemary, shiso, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and more. We focus on varieties chosen for flavor, freshness, and performance in small-scale hydroponic systems.

How Flood & Drain Works

  • The Flood Phase

    A timer activates the pump, flooding the grow tray with nutrient-rich water. The roots become fully saturated, absorbing essential minerals and nutrients.

  • The Drain Phase

    When the pump turns off, gravity drains the water back to the reservoir. This draws fresh oxygen down to the roots, promoting vigorous healthy growth.

  • Timed Cycles

    This flood-drain cycle repeats multiple times daily, ensuring plants receive optimal nutrition and oxygen for maximum growth potential.
